Terms & Conditions for Eco Camping
By making a booking with Green & Away you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
Bookings and Payments:
We prefer people to book and pay online before they arrive on site. Our online booking system allows you to do this. If you would prefer to pay by cheque or speak to someone personally, please call Rachel on 03000 110 165.
Arrival and Departure Times
It is important to check in at the reception tent on arrival. We strongly recommend you arrive at least an hour before dark so you can familiarise yourself with your surroundings and our facilities.
Vehicle Information
There is limited vehicle access onto the site. There is also limited space for caravans and campervans so to avoid disappointment, please check with us before leaving home as to whether or not we can accommodate you. If the ground is waterlogged or muddy and we think there is a risk of the vehicle getting stuck, we may not be able to have your vehicle on site although you may be able to park your caravan outside our main field.
There is a small car park alongside our site which you are able to park in while you unload your vehicle. If you would like to bring a caravan or campervan on site, please leave your vehicle at the top of the lane (in the Fold car park), walk down the lane 5 minutes to our site and check in at the office first.
Our campers value the peace and quiet of the site and the grass can be quickly churned up from vehicle movements so we ask that vehicles are unloaded at our field gate (we can provide barrows).
Responsible Tenanting
By booking with Green & Away you are agreeing to leave all furniture and furnishings in the same state you found them, and to leave the site clean and tidy when you depart.
Should any facilities, equipment, or inventory, be damaged willfully, as a result of inappropriate usage or behaviour, by you or a member of your party, you will be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.
Any willful damage to the Green & Away site or any property will result in you being asked to leave the site immediately. The Site Manager or any member of their team reserve the right to refuse them admission or ask you to leave the site at any time. If you are asked to leave under these circumstances, no monies will be refunded.
To respect the enjoyment of others, we ask that noise levels be kept to a minimum after 9:30pm. No music is allowed on site after 11.00pm.
Fires/Barbecues
You are welcome to bring your own food to cook outside your tent. Please ensure all rubbish is put away in the bins beside the cafe and the BBQ grill (if you borrowed one of ours) is cleaned.
Fires are only permitted in fire bowls. These can be rented from reception. If you wish to re-locate the fire bowl, please only do so before the fire is lit, and keep it at least 2 metres from the tent or yurt.
Only wood or charcoal is to be burned in the fire bowl. Heat resistant gloves are provided.
We have logs and kindling and charcoal for sale or you are welcome to bring your own. We do not permit windfall wood to be collected from our woods as this is left as wildlife habitat.
Barbecues may be lit provided they are raised up off the ground and are in a suitable container or you can use one of our fire bowls. Please ensure that smoke and fumes do not annoy neighbouring campers.
Do not take lit barbecues into tents/structures!
There are fire barrels and water buckets in the camping field. Please only use these on a fire if you are sure it is completely safe to do so and does not put you, or anyone else at risk.
There is strictly no smoking or vaping in any of the Green & Away structures (tents/marquees etc). There is a smoking/vaping area on site and this is the only area smoking or vaping can take place.
Kitchen, Food and Alcohol
We do not provide catering for eco-campers. There are several pubs nearby that sell good food and an award winning eco-cafe less than a 10 minute walk away.
Please note that the village of Bransford only has a small garage, and no shops. The next nearest shop is in Leigh Sinton which is 2 miles away. You can find bigger grocery stores in Worcester.
We have a licensed bar which offers a selection of organic wines, local beer and ciders botanically brewed soft drinks, chocolates, and crisps. The bar is cash only. Please do not bring your own alcohol on site.
Showers and Toilets
Our wood burning showers are lit in the evenings and are only warm during certain hours. Our toilets are compost toilets; there are no flushing toilets anywhere on site. There are handwashing facilities outside every toilet. Right next to the showers, there is an extra washing area that has mirrors and washing basins should you require them.
Children
This is a wonderful environment for children and we encourage them to enjoy it to the full, but they are your responsibility at all times. We would ask you to take particular care of them around the river and any fires/naked flames.
The surrounding area
Green & Away is situated in a country setting as such, there are crops planted in surrounding fields, which we ask you to respect.
There are also horses, sheep and cows nearby, we ask you not to feed them or cause them any distress.
Please obey any no entry signs on and near the site, these are here for your safety.
You are responsible for your own and your parties personal safety when on site and in the surrounding area.
Please ensure that you close any gates that you open.
Noise
Noise at night must be kept to a minimum. Although we may seem far away from other residences, sound travels far in the country and we ask you to respect our neighbour’s peace and quiet.
Acoustic instruments are encouraged, but please leave the sound systems at home.
If you cause a disturbance and continue to do so after being asked by us to stop, we reserve the right to ask you to leave.
Dogs
We do not allow dogs on site.
Personal Belongings
Green & Away takes no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal belongings brought onto site. Please leave valuables at home.
Queries, Concerns and Complaints
We want you to have an enjoyable stay with us. If you have cause for complaint, please contact our Site Manager immediately who will be more than happy to try and help resolve the issue.
Costs
We have a small selection of towels and wellington boots available to hire, and toothbrushes and other essentials to buy.
