People with Disabilities

The Green & Away site is in a meadow and therefore is somewhat uneven. Entrances to the main structures (conference marquee, bar, etc) are on the level. We provide one toilet with a flat entrance accessible to wheelchairs and those unable to use steps. Access to the showers requires a step up and may be difficult for some - contact us for more information. As we don't have mains electricity on site we are unable to provide induction loops.

Depending on where you want to camp, you will need to walk between 100 and 400 yards from the car park to the camping areas. Wheelbarrows are available to help move your bags and tents. If you are likely to need help with this, please let us know when you arrive on site.

As seating is largely on covered straw bales and benches, you may wish to bring your own chair. If you use a wheelchair, we suggest that you contact us in advance to discuss your requirements.

2011 Events

We're now taking bookings for 2011. Contact us by clicking here if you would like to discuss bringing your organisation to Green and Away.
