2010 Events & Booking Forms

We are expecting to host five events in 2010. The following are confirmed (all events require pre-booking):

2010 The Art of Mentoring: 4 - 10 July (open to all)

Jon Young is bringing his Coyote Mentoring teachings to England for the very first time! Learn and experience ways to deeply connect to the natural world and to yourself through methods Jon Young has evolved. Jon’s teachings give a lot of people deep hope that each of us can make a significant impact on today’s environmental problems. Visit the The Art of Mentoring website for booking details and more information.

2010 National Trust Engagement Uncovered 13 - 15 July

This is an internal National Trust event.

Humanistic Psychology Earth Festival 16 - 18 July (open to all)

A weekend in the open air, on a sustainable site, enjoying the company of others, working with some of the best humanistic practitioners in the country, music, singing, making friends, living and learning.

The lineup includes Leo Rutherford (Medicine Wheel), John Rowan (Non Verbal Workshop), Jocelyn Chaplin (Rhythmic Equalising Attunement), Jenny Nicholson (The work that Reconnects - Joanna Macy), Anna Nangle (Chi Kung), Martin Wilks (strolling musician), Gill Heriz (non-violent communication), Sandra White (Towers and Landscapes), Pauline Elwell (Earth Walk), Maxine Linnell (Releasing Creativity), Jane Wise (Singing), Joy the Storyteller (Tales from the Heartwood), Taize singing with Ba Wheeler, New Games with Nick Wise, and Judith Anderson. Visit the Association for Humanistic Psychology in Britain website for more information.

Green & Away Private View: July 20 (by invitation only)

Each summer we hold a Private View to enable people to experience the unique atmosphere of Green & Away. It is an opportunity for us to show prospective users of Green & Away the range and quality of the facilities we offer. When you arrive you will be offered scones and tea and will then have the opportunity to explore the site and facilities, or to have a guided tour. There will be live music and later a meal from the excellent Green & Away kitchens. As the sun sets we light the fire in the middle of the village green. Throughout the evening, the Rising Sunflower will be open, serving local beers and ciders.

If your organization is interested in learning more about what we do, or might want to hold an event or conference with us, please contact Helen Cranston by email or at Green & Away, PO Box 40, Malvern, Worcs. WR14 1YS for an invitation.

HerbFest 2010: 23 - 25 July (open to all)

Back for the fifth successive year, HerbFest 2010 is a herbal gathering combining informative lectures, practical workshops and plant walks with time to relax and enjoy each other's company. There is a choice of activities throughout the day, and entertainment around the central campfire in the evenings.
